J'ai oublie le Tour!!!

...which means, "I forgot the Tour! (de France)" in French. Well, I actually didn't forget about it...far from the truth as I've been watching like a crazed woman every day, but it's been on for over a week and I have not even mentioned it!

I heart the tour and all the hours of TV I must watch to follow it. I love the chase and the strategy of it all. Plus, the shear athletic ability it takes to compete is thrilling.

I have followed the the tour for about 5 years thanks to my cycling-enthused friend, Sean. He taught me about the teams, tactics, and a little bit of history. Now, I teach Russell the same.

It's been a blast watching this year. I'm not a huge Lance Armstrong fan (a personal beef) but I do support Livestrong and all it stands for. It's been nice to see other riders come forth as general contenders as it spices everything up.

I have some comrades who share my love of the sport. My wonderful friends Hillary and Carrie both love them some cycling. So much so that when they had their babies (Harper and Edmund, respectively), I made them both these onesies which Carrie's son Edmund so graciously modeled (Sorry, Hill, I couldn't find the pic of Harper):
