Food Matters

Have you seen it? Have you heard about it? Do you believe it?

If you haven't already, you NEED to see Food Matters.

Even if you aren't the biggest health nut, this movie makes good sense. I don't always eat the right things, but I am interested in living a healthier life...AND I want to feel better.

Do you ever think about how all of us feel tried all of the time? Do you ever think it might be tied to what we are eating? I'm not even talking simply "fast foods". I'm talking heavy meats, cheeses, and in my case, cupcakes (don't fret...I will never give these up. I might just scale back a bit.)

This film speaks about how the food we eat directly correlates with how we feel. We need more vitamins and nutrients and less preservatives and "fake foods". Warning: the film speaks a lot about the necessity of eating a RAW diet. This way of life will be hard to execute no matter where you live, but I really want to try and do it for at least a week and gauge how I feel. It focuses on superfoods and nutrients.

I don't know about you, but feeling better, more energetic and light, is super appealing. I will not be starting it this week due to work travel trips, but perhaps in the weeks to come and will experiment and blog on how I do.

Watch this movie. You can stream it from Netflix. Do it. You'll feel better. Maybe even lighter.

  1. My friend Josh eats a largely raw diet - he eats raw food for breakfast and lunch, but eats healthy regular dinners with his family to minimally disrupt their lifestyle. It works really well for him - high energy and healthy weight loss. I will warn you that he told me that switching to a raw food diet often destroys people's digestive systems for the first few days of transition, so if you're going to try it out, keep that in mind and don't give up right away!

  2. I AGREE WITH THOSE TYPE DIETS...CAUSE IT'S "LIVING" FOOD WE'RE EATING MORE OF!!! we all wonder why we have allergies and sickness...it's cause our bodies weren't supposed to be taking in all those "extra" additives etc. so you go for it!
